The state of gradual destruction of robots, corrosion inflicts damage over time for 5 seconds. Particles that cause corrosion have a 100% chance to proc on hit. When a particle hits a robot, it starts suffering from corrosion, taking a certain percent of damage.
What should be noted:
- This effect can stack up infinitely, accumulating all the corrosion damage. The duration of each stack though remains the same (5 seconds);
- Physical shields don’t suffer from corrosion and protect your robot from the condition;
- Corrosion is a ‘true damage’ that always remains the same: it ignores all forms of damage reduction (Defense Points, Suppression, Pilot skills), and cannot be boosted by Death Mark, Freeze, Nuclear/Thermonuclear modules, Pilot skills, or Damage booster;
- A target cannot be immune to corrosion;
- If you manage to cause corrosion to an opponent before your robot is destroyed, the opponent will suffer damage for the whole duration as it should.
