Whether deliberate or not, staying inactive during a battle or leaving a battle means that one team is outnumbered and has a lower chance to win. When this happens, it impacts all players from both teams equally: an easy win is not something one can be proud of, and the other team is simply suffering from lack of power.
There may be dozens of reasons why a Commander stays idle/leaves their teammates, and they’re all understandable when it's unintentional. However, if it's deliberate action or it happens systematically, a Commander will likely receive a penalty.
What consequence may follow if I stay idle or leave battle?
You can be reported by other Commanders but if you’re not staying idle/leaving battles systematically, you should be fine. Otherwise, you may be put into the Low Priority Queue or even get a temporary game profile suspension.
How do I know if I’m in the Low Priority Queue and how to get out?
You’ll see a notice at the bottom of a Game Mode selection screen. You may also notice that not all modes are available to you (Domination and Skirmish only).
To get back to the Regular Queue keep playing as usual without abandoning battles or AFKing. The number of battles to be played may vary depending on your penalty.
How can I report an AFK player?
Use the in-game reporting tool: when a battle is over and you’re viewing the after-battle scoreboard, tap on a Commander’s nickname, then tap ‘Report’ and select the appropriate option.
NOTE: Currently, there’s a single place where the ‘Report’ option can be accessed: the after-battle stats screen. Unfortunately, if you run out of robots and leave the battle before it is actually over, it won’t be possible to report a player.
