We know cheating is a substantial topic among the WR community and we always aim to prevent such activity in any form.
What is considered cheating?
In a broad sense, anything that bypasses game rules or mechanics to earn unfair advantage. However, it is most commonly understood as using third-party software, modifying/altering game functionality, or even bug exploiting (please see our other FAQs in the ‘Fair play and penalties’ category for other types of possible violations). To sum it up, this may include:
- using modified or unofficial third party software;
- intentionally exploiting a bug to gain unfair advantage.
What consequence may follow?
Cheating is definitely not tolerated. Because it impacts all players, we are very careful about what action to take against those who don't prefer to play fairly. A violation may lead to a temporary or even a permanent game profile suspension. In the case of the latter, no previous purchases are reimbursed.
How do I report a cheater?
Use the in-game reporting tool: when a battle is over and you’re viewing the after-battle scoreboard, tap on a Commander’s nickname, then tap ‘Report’ and select the appropriate option.
NOTE: Currently, there’s a single place where the ‘Report’ option can be accessed: the after-battle stats screen. Unfortunately, if you run out of robots and leave the battle before it is actually over, it won’t be possible to report a player.
