Most pilots' skills fall into tiers, representing their power. There're four skill tiers: the higher it is, the more powerful the skill is. To easily distinguish tiers, pay attention to skill's color:
- Tier 1 — gray
- Tier 2 — blue
- Tier 3 — purple
- Tier 4 — yellow
The highest tier a skill can have depends on the type of a pilot:
- Regular pilots: the highest tier available is Tier 3;
- Legendary pilots: the highest tier available is Tier 4, the most powerful version of a skill.
You can upgrade a skill tier manually with Au:
Tier 1 → tier 2: 500 Au;
Tier 2 → tier 3: 1.000 Au;
Tier 3 → tier 4: 2.000 Au (a skill upgrade to tier 4 is available to Legendary pilots only).
Upgrading a skill's tier doesn't change its level progression.
NOTE:
Tier 1 → tier 2: 500 Au;
Tier 2 → tier 3: 1.000 Au;
Tier 3 → tier 4: 2.000 Au (a skill upgrade to tier 4 is available to Legendary pilots only).
Upgrading a skill's tier doesn't change its level progression.
NOTE:
- When replacing a skill with a new random one, its tier will be determined randomly: the higher the tier, the harder it is to get;
- When selecting a specific skill manually, its tier will always be 1;
- Some non-legendary skills are non-upgradeable. Their tier is 4 by default;
- Legendary pilots' unique skills are non-upgradeable and don't have tiers;
- Tiers are not to be confused with skill levels. Both function independently;
- The skills your pilots had before the 6.2.0 update are Tier 3.
